Installer#

This section covers day-to-day work for field installers: PWA on your phone, completing work orders, logging hours and expenses, photo documentation, offline behaviour.

Typical day#

  1. Morning: open the PWA from your phone’s home screen. The home view shows today’s tasks and any open unassigned ones.
  2. On site: open the task, read the brief and contact info. Do the work — take photos along the way if helpful.
  3. Hours and expenses: log them per task or via the general Hours view. Foreman approves weekly.
  4. End of day: mark the task complete or leave it in progress for tomorrow.

Common questions#

Where do I get login credentials?
The office provides your username, database name and API key. See [Login](kirjautuminen/) for details.
What if I’m on site without internet?
The PWA mostly works offline: the last-fetched tasks and product catalogue are cached. Changes queue up locally and sync once you're back online. See [Offline mode](offline/).
How do I get notified when assigned a task?
Enable push notifications: Settings → Notifications → "Enable". See [Notifications](ilmoitukset/).
Where do I see my PWA version?
At the bottom of the Settings screen. You can also check for a newer version with the "Check for updates" button.
